    How the QR code works

    1. Create your event

Sign in with Google and set up your event in about five minutes. PixBearer creates a private folder in your own Google Drive. Nothing else in your Drive is touched or shared.

    2. Print the QR code

Download your event's QR code and add it to your welcome sign, table cards, or order of service. Guests scan it with their normal phone camera.

    3. Photos arrive during the event

Guests pick the pictures and videos they want to share and tap upload. Files land in your Google Drive within seconds, at full resolution.

Why couples use PixBearer for their wedding pictures

Your photos live in your Drive

Most photo apps host your gallery on their servers for 3 to 12 months, then it closes. PixBearer saves every file to your own Google Drive. There is no hosting window and nothing to export later.

    Nothing for guests to install

Any phone camera scans the code and uploads through the browser. No app store, no account, no age barrier. It works for unlimited guests.

    Original quality, no compression

Group chats compress pictures until they look soft. PixBearer keeps the original files, so every photo is good enough to print.

    Videos too, not just photos

Guests can upload videos of the speeches and the first dance. Free events accept videos up to 250 MB and 2 minutes. Paid events accept up to 500 MB with no length cap.

    Private by default

Only you see the full album in your Drive. If you want guests to browse and favorite photos during the party, you can turn on a live gallery with the Premium plan.

    Free for most weddings

The free plan covers 100 photo and video uploads and 10 GB per event. If you need more, one $19 payment removes the caps. No subscription.

QR code for wedding photos FAQ

How is this different from a plain QR code generator?

A generator turns any link into a QR image and stops there. PixBearer gives you an event page for the code to point at, so scanning it lets guests upload their photos and videos to your Google Drive. If you only need a plain code for another link, our free wedding QR code generator does that too.

What does the QR code cost?

The free plan includes your event QR code and covers 100 photo and video uploads with 10 GB of media. Upgrading is a one-time $19 payment for unlimited uploads. There is no subscription.

Do guests need an app or an account?

No. Guests scan the code with their phone camera and upload in the browser. There is nothing to download and no signup.

Where do the wedding pictures go?

Into a dedicated folder in your own Google Drive, created automatically when you set up the event. You own the files from the moment they upload, and they never expire.

Can guests upload videos as well as pictures?

Yes. On the free plan, videos up to 250 MB and 2 minutes are accepted. Paid plans raise that to 500 MB with no length limit.

What about photos from our photographer or a photobooth?

On the Premium plan you can import files that already sit in your Google Drive, including whole photobooth export folders, into the same event gallery. Everything ends up in one place.
